Interview with Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (Sons Of Apollo, Art Of Anarchy)

Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal is one of the most prolific musicians on the planet. Not only he toured the world with Guns N’ Roses and recorded the Chinese Democracy album, he has also maintained a steady solo career since the mid 90’s, more recently being part of acts like Art Of Anarchy and Sons Of Apollo.

With their album Psychotic Symphony released in October 2017, Sons Of Apollo played a run of shows earlier this year, and are now ready to hit the road once again on a monstrous tour. Aside from Bumblefoot, their lineup is completed by an all-star cast: Mike Portnoy (drums), Derek Sherinian (keyboards), Billy Sheehan (bass) and Jeff Scott Soto (vocals). Rodrigo Altaf  had a chance to talk extensively with Bumblefoot about the writing process of their first album, the ongoing tour, his solo albums and many other subjects. You can hear the whole interview audio below.
