Florida death metal pioneers Obituary are set to commemorate the 35th anniversary of their seminal second album, “Cause of Death”, with a North American tour this spring. The tour will feature support from Nails, Terror, Spiritworld, and Pest Control.
The tour kicks off on April 18th in San Antonio, Texas, at the Aztec Theatre and traverse the country to end with a stop in Pennsylvania, at The Reading on May 25th. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale on Friday, January 24, at 10:00 AM local time via the band’s official website.
“Cause of Death” released in 1990, is widely regarded as a landmark album in the death metal genre, featuring tracks that have become staples in Obituary’s live performances. This anniversary tour will offer a unique opportunity to experience the album performed in its entirety, celebrating the enduring legacy of a record that helped shape the sound of death metal.
