Heavy Proggers THE CYBERIAM to Release Live Album “Forging Nations LIVE!” This December

After gaining a lot of new followers following their slot opening up Marillion’s Couch Convention on September 4th, heavy proggers The Cyberiam, have kicked off the pre-order campaign and release of their upcoming live album “Forging Nations LIVE!”. This concert recording captures the band’s captivating set during ProgStock Festival 2019 at Rahway New Jersey’s Union County Performing Arts Center.

October 13, 2019 was a milestone day in the burgeoning career of this remarkable band. Already well-established with a rabid following in their hometown of Chicago, on this day, The Cyberiam would play to their largest live audience to date. Fans like Patrick Thaddeus Jackson, who witnessed the performance live, have said “the band blew the roof off the theatre with a blistering set showcasing their immense musical talent”.

“Forging Nations LIVE!” features the full energy, seven-song set from The Cyberiam’s rapidly expanding discography. The release includes the band’s 21-minute epic, “The Butterfly Effect”, performed in its entirety, plus selections from their nationally and internationally acclaimed 2018 debut album, “The Cyberiam”.

Jordan Blum, in his ProgStock review for The Prog Report, described the performance as “wildly tight, dynamic, and gripping” and the band’s music as “slightly futuristic pop/rock odes of social commentary”. Couple that with incredibly clean mixing by vocalist/guitarist Keith Semple and mastering by prog legend Andy Van Dette and the result is a recording that allows the intricacies and exceptional talent of each member to shine while creating a whole that is even better than the sum of its parts. It’s no wonder that fans came from as far away as Chicago, Buffalo, and Washington DC just to catch The Cyberiam’s opening slot on a Sunday morning.
