In a move that marks both a new creative chapter and a bold step in independence, Disturbed has unveiled their latest single “I Will Not Break” — their first release under their own Mother Culture Records label. This fresh track arrives as the band’s first musical offering since the release of their critically lauded album Divisive in 2022.
According to the band, “I Will Not Break” is “a necessary song, about becoming stronger than the forces that constantly try to tear you down,” a sentiment that resonates with anyone facing adversity. Equally stirring are the lyrics, which declare: “I’ve had enough of feeling terrified, now I’m deciding that I won’t be hiding from anyone.” delivering an unfiltered call to stand firm against life’s challenges. Stream the song below.
Produced by Drew Fulk — also known by his alias Wzrd Bld (with past production credits for Motionless In White, Lil Peep, and Highly Suspect)—the track builds on the creative groundwork laid during the making of Divisive. That album, recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, made its mark by debuting at No. 13 on the all-format Billboard 200 chart and selling 26,000 equivalent album units in its first week, with album sales accounting for 22,000 of those units.
Looking forward, fans have much to anticipate. Disturbed is set to embark on a 34-date “The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour,” which will launch in Nampa, Idaho on February 25, 2025. The tour celebrates a quarter-century since the debut of their seminal record — a release that not only defined the band’s sound but also left an indelible mark on heavy metal history.
Each concert will offer a dual-set experience: the first set features the complete performance of the five-time platinum album The Sickness, while the second set delivers a curated collection of greatest hits. The first leg of the tour will see special support from Three Days Grace — welcoming back original singer Adam Gontier — and opener Sevendust, while the latter half will feature appearances by Daughtry with opener Nothing More.
