Rob Halford, the Metal God and vocalist for Judas Priest is back with another fascinating and insightful book entitled “Biblical: Rob Halford’s Heavy Metal Scriptures”. It comes hot on the heels of his 2020 tell-all book autobiography, “Confess!” In which, Rob shares his life story from beginning to end in a linear approach, from growing up in the Walsall, UK, hiding his sexuality, forming Judas Priest, writing albums, touring the world, leaving Priest in 1992, publicly coming out as gay, and rejoining the band in 2003.

“Biblical: Rob Halford’s Heavy Metal Scriptures”

In this latest book, Rob delivers the scriptures of his life’s work with a clever and unique twist.  It’s an open narrative of the up-and-downs of Judas Priest‘s 50-year career set to Bible-Esque-themed chapters. The Book of Pilgrimage is a hard look into the challenges of touring and the preparation that goes into it; The Book of Psalms and Testaments touches upon his method of lyric writing, creating album titles, and artwork; The Book Disciples is about his loyal fans and the best way they should ask for selfies and autographs! He shares these “gospel truths” with humor and open candor without leaving out any risqué details.

“Biblical: Rob Halford’s Heavy Metal Scriptures” ( order it HERE) is a manifesto in which Rob shares his opinions, memories, and anecdotes regarding every element of the rock n’ roll world. It is told in Rob‘s relaxed tone, as if he is speaking directly with you one-on-one while mixing serious and in-depth topics with whimsical reflections on life’s lessons.

Contributor Robert Cavuoto, had the honor of interviewing Rob Halford for an insightful look at his success, pursuing his dreams of stardom, becoming a spiritual person, an update on the new Judas Priest album, and the importance of being inducted into the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame meant to him standing shoulder-to-shoulder with all the band members who deserved to be there.
