After weeks of speculation, The Rolling Stones have confirmed the title of their new album, “Hackney Diamonds”, their first since 2005.

According to a social media post by the band, the full details of the LP will be revealed this coming Wednesday, September 6 at a YouTube live-streamed event from the Hackney district of East London, where Mick JaggerKeith Richards and Ron Wood will be interviewed by “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” host Jimmy Fallon.

“Hackney may be at the heart of Hackney Diamonds, but this is a truly global moment we want to share with fans around the world via YouTube,” the group said in a statement.

The Rolling Stones‘ upcoming LP will be the first since their drummer, Charlie Watts, died in 2021. It will be the band’s first collection of new material in nearly two decades, following 2005’s “A Bigger Bang”. In 2016, the band released “Blue & Lonesome”, a covers collection paying tribute to old-school blues.
