Pittsburgh’s powerhouse metallers, Code Orange, have pulled the plug on their highly anticipated tour, leaving fans with a bittersweet note of concern for bandmate Dominic Landolina. The guitarist, who has been battling undisclosed health issues for the past year, unfortunately won’t be able to hit the road just yet.
The band’s decision seems wasn’t an easy call. After pushing through fall performances despite the toll on Dom‘s health, they had hoped for a February return. But after careful consideration, and prioritizing Dom‘s well-being, the decision was made to step back from the spotlight.
The band’s statement echoes this sentiment, expressing deep concern for Dom and emphasizing the desire to “regain their strength” before returning “in full force”
“Our guitarist Dom has been dealing with serious health issues over the past year that have led to his inability to play, perform, and live comfortably. While he gritted through our fall performances, his issues were exasperated by them. We wanted to give him proper time to heal before making a group decision, and were very hopeful he would be able to return by February. Ultimately it’s been determined that he is unable to play guitar at this time. We take this decision very seriously, and this is the last way we intended to start this era.” reads a statement posted by the band on social media.

We are now focused on regaining our strength. We will be back with more stability and in full force. Thank you for your continued love and respect.
