ARCH ENEMY have announced they will embark on the “Will To Power” U.S tour this fall. Support on the trek will come from GOATwh**e and UNCURED. The 22-city tour kicks off on September 28 in Providence, Rhode Island, hitting major markets along the way, before culminating at the iconic Starland Ballroom in New Jersey on October 27. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 4.
Co-produced by Amott and drummer Daniel Erlandsson, ARCH ENEMY‘s latest album, “Will To Power”, was mixed and mastered by longtime collaborator and friend Jens Bogren(OPETH, AT THE GATES, DIMMU BORGIR). The album’s captivating cover artwork was designed by Alex Reisfar. “Will To Power” marked the second ARCH ENEMY album since the departure of longtime singer Angela Gossow and addition of Alissa White-Gluz. It was also the first ARCH ENEMY disc to feature former NEVERMORE guitarist Jeff Loomis, who joined the band in late 2014.
Of the upcoming tour, ARCH ENEMY‘s founding guitarist and chief songwriter Michael Amott says: “After our hugely successful co-headline U.S./Canada trek with TRIVIUM last fall, we are very much looking forward to returning to North American soil! This time we’re hitting a slew of cities and markets we haven’t been to in a while and we can guarantee that it’s gonna be an insane metal party!”
