Hollywood Vampires have confirmed plans to head back out on the road with a European tour scheduled for this summer.
The band takes its name from a circle of famous musicians that iconic rocker Alice Cooper regularly drank with in the early 1970s. That group famously included figures such as John Lennon and Keith Moon. Today, Hollywood Vampires is made up of Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, actor and musician Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper, and producer-songwriter Tommy Henriksen.
The trio first joined forces in 2015, coming together in the studio through a shared appreciation for the music that shaped them. Their original goal was to honor what they described as their “dead, drunk friends” by performing songs written by artists who had passed on. What followed were high-energy shows that quickly gained attention, leading to performances in cities around the world.
Addressing their upcoming plans, Hollywood Vampires said: “After three years away, we’re finally coming back to tour the UK and Europe. We’re looking forward to incredible crowds, massive energy and more unforgettable nights. See you all soon!”
