THE ROAD TO PROGSTOCK 2018: Interview with FERNANDO PERDOMO

Fernando Perdomo is best known in progressive rock circles as the right-hand man and guitar gunslinger for Dave Kerzner and his live band, recently rubbing shoulders with the likes of Steve Hackett, but as a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and singer/songwriter in his own right, Perdomo has a staggering body of work to his own name. Recently recording at Abbey Road Studios for an upcoming solo album (“Zebra Crossing”) and releasing a cheeky album of friends covering his own tunes (“Fernando Perdomo Has Lost His Voice,”) Perdomo’s earlier 2018 release, “Out to Sea,” has achieved critical acclaim far and wide, and has earned him a place performing at ProgStock 2018 with his Out to Sea Band.

Sonic Perspectives’ very own Austin Kokel recently spoke to Fernando Perdomo as the ProgStock train prepares to pull into the station later this week, October 5 – 7, in Rahway, New Jersey.  In a lengthy, detailed, and mind-expanding interview, the two talk about everything from Peter Banks and Curved Air to… well, you’ll just have to listen!

The Sonic Perspectives team looks forward to seeing you and all of our musician friends very soon at ProgStock 2018!  Make sure to click on our social media icons to follow, like, comment, subscribe, and so on and so forth.
