Progressive rock festival ProgStock returns to New Jersey this October 11th – 13th bringing an engaging lineup of top-notch bands to the beautiful Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway, New Jersey. Now considered “The Northeast’s only international progressive rock festival”, ProgStock is in its third year and continues to pave new ground by featuring exclusive collaboration between the artists outside of their usual sets. In addition to a dozen headlining performances on the main stage which include Saga, Brand X, Nektar and Robert Berry’s 3.2, there are unique bonus sets pairing Rachel Flowers with various lead men from the headlining bands. After the main sets conclude, there are even more musicians and bands performing in the after-hours location down the street, and even a “Last Call Live” set on the main stage where talented audience members perform pre-chosen prog classics. Throw in meet and greet sessions for all the bands and a well-stocked vending area and it’s easy to see how ProgStock has been successful in making their festival one of the most fan-friendly experiences around.

The founder of the festival, Thomas Palmieri, offers an overview of what makes ProgStock so special in the video interview below. Palmieri and his dedicated staff and volunteers continue to do the hard work behind the scenes to keep progressive rock alive and well with these truly unique experiences. Whether you’ve been to a “progressive rock festival” before or not, check out what Palmieri has to say about it and make your plans to join in the fun and experience ProgStock first-hand this year.

Tickets are available for the full weekend in this ideal venue, or you can purchase one-day passes if that is all your schedules allows for. We hope to see you for this momentous weekend!
