Uli Jon Roth would like to share some exciting news for the upcoming year: After a hiatus of ten years Uli is finally bringing back his legendary SKY ACADEMY to California at the end of March 2024.
This seminar should be highly interesting for those among you who are guitar players, but as always with Uli, non-musicians will also find his teachings fascinating because they encompass so much more than just guitar playing. Long Beach Sky Academy will be followed by an extensive 40-date Tour of North America in April and May. This is going to be Uli’s first tour since 2019, and he is going to bring a truly amazing show. The format of the concerts will be unique since you are practically going to see and hear no less than TWO entirely different Uli Jon Roth concerts in the course of a single evening – albeit for the price of only one. As on his previous very successful 50th Anniversary Tour, Uli’s 2024 concert will come in two halves, divided by an intermission, yet the program will be quite different this time.
The upcoming Interstellar Sky Tour will include some of the exciting new material which Uli has written especially for that tour. During the first half of the evening Uli will perform solo on stage in front of a large screen. Apart from some of his Interstellar Sky Tour pieces there is also going to be plenty of new material. A special highlight will be a short “Ted-Talk” by Uli introducing his amazing new book “In Search of The Alpha Law” which is going to be published in the Spring.
The second half of the show will be devoted to Uli playing with his whole band, performing basically a “Best Of” from his career with rock songs, an intense journey through his early Scorpions classics, as well as a nice selection of Electric Sun songs and a bit of Jimi Hendrix at the end. These shows are not to be missed! It is a unique one-time opportunity for all serious Uli aficionados.
