Powerwolf has recently announced their new live release Wildlive (Live At Olympiahalle), and today the band has stirred up even more excitement by revealing a major European arena tour for 2026. The “Wake Up The Wicked Tour 2026” will see the German heavy metal icons joined by special guests Hammerfall and Wind Rose, promising a night of monumental performances in some of the continent’s biggest venues.
The tour begins on February 19 in Copenhagen and builds toward a major milestone: for the first time in their career, Powerwolf will bring their acclaimed live spectacle to London’s legendary Wembley Arena.
Ahead of that, the band is already in the thick of their “Summer Of The Wicked” headline run, appearing on top festival stages throughout Europe in 2025. Following this, they’ll head across the Atlantic for a large-scale North American tour featuring Dragonforce as support.
All of this momentum surrounds the release of Wildlive (Live At Olympiahalle), a comprehensive live album captured during a sold-out performance on the Wolfsnächte Tour 2024 in Munich. The release is not just a live album, but an immersive experience — available in formats like Blu-Ray, DVD, CD, vinyl, and an array of collector-focused editions, including deluxe boxsets and special mediabooks.
Far from a routine concert recording, Wildlive (Live At Olympiahalle) is described as a “grand, cinematic experience brimming with fire, emotion, and boundless creativity.” Featuring a fire-breathing church organ, massive pyrotechnics, and a gothic, theatrical performance style, it encapsulates everything Powerwolf fans expect — and more.
Reflecting on the release, Powerwolf shared: “We always knew that no words or short recap videos could truly capture what we experienced together during the ‘Wolfsnächte 2024’ tour. Every night was its own kind of magic — still, we wanted to find a way to hold on to those memories and share them in the most powerful way possible. That’s why we decided to record the full, massive, sold-out show at the Olympiahalle in Munich — to preserve just a piece of what we all felt on this tour. Wildlive (Live at Olympiahalle) is more than a live release. It’s a tribute and manifestation to the moments we’ve created together with our amazing fans.”
With a monumental tour on the horizon and a live album that captures their theatrical heights, Powerwolf is setting the stage for what may be their most defining era yet.
