Following the huge success of their Long Live: The Black Parade tour, My Chemical Romance has unveiled plans for The Black Parade 2026, a massive stadium tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their groundbreaking third album. The tour will include 17 new live dates across North America and Europe next year.
Tickets for all newly announced shows will go on sale Friday, September 26, at 12:00 p.m. local time here.
The European leg will begin on June 30 in Liverpool and wrap up on July 18 in Madrid. Due to overwhelming demand, with both of their previously announced London shows at Wembley Stadium already sold out, the band has added a third night at the iconic venue on July 8.
After two completely sold-out performances in Mexico City this February, the North American leg will kick off on August 9 at Citi Field in New York City. The band will travel to major cities across the U.S. before ending the run with a three-night residency at Los Angeles’s historic Hollywood Bowl, concluding on October 24.
The group has hand-picked a stellar lineup of special guests for the North American dates, including Franz Ferdinand, Pierce The Veil, Modest Mouse, Iggy Pop, Sleater-Kinney, The Breeders, Babymetal, Jimmy Eat World, and The Mars Volta.
In addition to this tour, My Chemical Romance will also embark on previously announced tours in South America and Southeast Asia. They are also scheduled to headline major U.S. festivals such as Welcome To Rockville, Sonic Temple, and Louder Than Life.
Earlier this month, My Chemical Romance wrapped up their Long Live: The Black Parade tour, which sold over 450,000 tickets across just 10 North American markets. The trek received widespread acclaim from both fans and critics.
Variety praised the shows, stating that “the group’s performance of Black Parade was a full-on theatrical production.” The Hollywood Reporter added, “the band’s dedication to a full storytelling experience can’t be overstated.”
The Los Angeles Times declared, “My Chemical Romance is bigger than it’s ever been,” while The New Jersey Star-Ledger named them “the Garden State’s most significant rock outfit of the 21st century (it’s not close).”
The Seattle Times described the tour as “the blockbuster rock tour of the summer,” and Paste magazine boldly proclaimed, “Move over Eras Tour: My Chemical Romance has the most thrilling stadium show.”
With this new tour, the band looks ready to build on that momentum and give fans a truly unforgettable celebration of The Black Parade.
