Metalcore band Motionless in White have released the official music video for their song ‘Sign of Life’. The track is taken from the band’s latest album, “Scoring the End of the World” which was recently released, on September 8th, as a Deluxe Edition with four new bonus tracks. The album was originally released in June, 2022.
The video was directed by Max Moore and features the band performing the song in a dark and desolate setting. The imagery is meant to reflect the song’s lyrics, which are about finding hope in the midst of despair.
In a statement, Motionless in White front-man Chris Motionless said, “‘Sign of Life’ is a song about finding hope in the darkest of times. It’s about never giving up, even when things seem hopeless. We wanted the video to reflect that message, so we created something that was both visually stunning and emotionally powerful.”
For the first time ever, “Scoring The End Of The World (Deluxe Edition)” is offered on vinyl in a variety of colors, including black, orange, hellfire, scorched earth, and electric purple which has a special alternate cover design, and in multiple formats.
The album counts with guests as diverse as Bryan Garris of Knocked Loose, Caleb Shomo of Beartooth, and video game composer Mick Gordon, “Scoring The End Of The World (Deluxe Edition)” finds the group’s vision magnified wider than ever before with no shortage of teeth, fire, and blood.
“Scoring The End Of The World” fully encompasses the expanse of Motionless in White‘s dynamic, deep, and dark vision, and marks the band’s first full-length body of work in three years since 2019’s “Disguise”. The record claimed a spot on Loudwire‘s “50 Best Metal Albums of 2019,” plus it ignited the creative renaissance that would set the stage for the statement-making “Scoring The End Of The World”.
