The members of Judas Priest showed their support for Los Angeles by donating $100,000 to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) before their concert at the Kia Forum on Sunday, October 19, 2025. The donation aims to assist those affected by the recent wildfires that swept through Los Angeles County and nearby communities, leaving widespread destruction in their wake.
Members of Judas Priest met with six firefighters prior to the show, where they presented the donation check in person as a gesture of gratitude for the department’s bravery and tireless service.
Earlier this month, a city-commissioned review called for major reforms within the Los Angeles Fire Department. The report stated that the department must “overhaul its staffing policies, improve communication systems and enhance wildfire training” in response to the tragic Palisades Fire, which claimed 12 lives and devastated large portions of the Pacific Palisades community.
The Palisades Fire, the largest in Los Angeles County this year, began on January 7 and scorched 23,707 acres. The second largest, known as the Eaton Fire, also ignited on January 7 north of Pasadena and burned through 14,021 acres.
The donation came during Judas Priest’s ongoing 22-city tour with Alice Cooper, produced by Live Nation. The tour kicked off on September 16 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi, and includes stops in cities like Toronto, Phoenix, and Los Angeles before concluding on October 26 at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas.
Judas Priest continues to perform in support of their latest album, Invincible Shield, which debuted at No. 2 on the U.K. charts, just behind Ariana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine.
