INGESTED has shared the video for “With Broken Wings,” a track taken from their most recent album “Ashes Lie Still”. It’s truly a slice of life — INGESTED style!
“Manchester has always been a big part of our identity, so we wanted to the video to be a nod and a homage to our roots and the music we grew up listening to as kids,” says singer Jason Evans. “We filmed it on location on a street in a Manchester housing estate, in one continuous take. No bells or whistles, just a dirty Manc, on a Mancunian street, with some f**king heavy riffs! This is our home. Enjoy!”
INGESTED, will return to North America this Spring on a month-long headlining tour. Dubbed Ingesting North America 2023 – The Slam Tour Of The Year, the journey will commence on May 4th in Brooklyn, New York and run through June 4th in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Additional support will be provided by Devourment, Extermination Dismemberment, and Organectomy as well as special guests Implosive Disgorgence, PeelingFlesh, and I Declare War on select dates.

INGESTED are the flag-bearers of modern UK death metal churning out bilious anti-anthems for more than a decade-and-a-half and dropping a string of releases that have helped shape the genre. The band released their “Ashes Lie Still” full-length in November via Metal Blade Records.
Their most dynamic, inventive, and daring release to date, “Ashes Lie Still” holds nothing back. Over the course of ten tracks, INGESTED hacks, slashes, and steamrolls through everything in their path. The record was mixed and mastered by Christian Donaldson. It was co-produced by the band and previous collaborator Nico Beninato, with drummer Lyn Jeffs living close to Beninato’s studio in Mallorca and recording his drums there, while Sean Hynes recorded his guitars at home in the UK with the producer assisting remotely. Vocal tracking was interrupted by Jason Evans falling seriously ill when finally making it to Mallorca and was ultimately tracked back in Manchester. Bass was again supplied by Dominic Grimard (Ion Dissonance/The Last Felony).
