Former Guns N’ Roses maestro, DJ Ashba, is back in the spotlight with his newest single, “Party Tonight,” featuring the soulful vocals of Dia, marking Ashba‘s return to the music scene since last year’s “Cryptonite” with British sensation Sarah de Warren.
Ashba, known for his guitar prowess and eclectic collaborations, isn’t a stranger to reinvention. In the summer of 2022, he joined forces with his now-ex-wife, the vibrant Italo-Colombian influencer Nathalia Ashba who goes by the name Natyash, for the infectious “Malosa.” This dance/rock hybrid, coined by Ashba as GDM (Guitar Dance Music), showcased his ability to fuse genres seamlessly.
Before this, he shook things up in 2021 with “Bella Ciao,” an EDM-driven transformation of the classic Italian folk tune. This release kicked off a wave of musical offerings in late 2020, including the hypnotic “Hypnotic,” the rhythmic “Let’s Dance,” and the festive “A Christmas Storm,” all under the banner of Edgeout Records/UMG/UMe.
