French multi-instrumentalist (bass, piano, guitar, drums, etc.) and composer Franck Carducci has revealed the making of a new album “The Answer” scheduled for release at the end of 2019. Franck says: “I’m really thrilled to reveal that I’ll be releasing a new album by the end of 2019. The album is called “THE ANSWER” and will contain a few songs already played live during our On The Road To Nowhere tour + some new tracks + of course the already released single “Slave to Rock N’ Roll”.
“It will feature some very special guests including Derek Sherinian (Alice Cooper, Dream-Theater, Billy Idol, Black Country Communion, …), Jimmy Pallagrosi (Zio, Karnataka) and Fabrice Dutour (Backroads, Dyslesia)
The Answer might very well be my ‘proggiest’ album (whatever that means), but it will certainly appeal to all melodic rock lovers – from blues to hard-rock – and especially to classic-rock and vintage 70s sounds lovers”
In order to produce this album, Carducci just launched a crowdfunding campaign, where you can not only pre-order the CD/Vinyl, but also receive exclusive goodies (including Arion Superstar‘s guitar, …).
Carducci rose in a family where music is a way of life. He produced his first melody on the keyboard of an organ at age 5, and between the ages of 20 and 30 he played with upwards of 20 different bands, and got involved in the recording of 15 different albums, including 2 with French female folk singer Yanne Matis. In 2008, Franck moved to Amsterdam and in 2010 he opened a gig for one of his heroes, Steve Hackett, opportunity that finally propelled him to pursue his own career and record his first album. His debut Oddity was widely acclaimed by the specialists of the genre, as well as a lovely discovery for the neophytes. Following the release of his sophomore effort Torn Apart, Franck embarked in a very successful European tour entitled Tearing the Tour Apart. His two high-energy and utterly addictive performances at Climax Club Legend near St. Etienne in his native France were filmed and later released on Blu Ray and DVD in May 18th of 2017. During 2018 and part of 2019 he embarked in the On The Road To Nowhere tour throughout Europe, with shows in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Norway, Belgium and The Netherlands.
