Hot on the heels of a very successful tour to promote his 2022 album “The Elephants of Mars”, Joe keeps working on new paintings and is working against the clock to finalize the work for the upcoming exhibits. Aside from some new works, any purchasers of his paintings will be treated to a private performance, inside the gallery, for the final hour of his exhibit appearance. And those who have purchased his unique hand-painted guitars will have the extra thrill of jamming with the man himself.

One of the most successful guitar players of his generation, Joe has excelled not only as a solo artist and painter but was also a part of several bands: Greg Kihn Band, Chickenfoot, Mick Jagger’s touring band, and Deep Purple, with whom he toured after the departure of Richie Blackmore. He also put together G3, a tour that consists of three guitar players doing solo shows and an extensive jam towards the end. Accompanying Joe on the G3 tours were six-string geniuses such as Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, John Petrucci, Steve Morse, Robert Fripp, and many more.

Collaborator Rodrigo Altaf interviewed Joe Satriani in early 2022 for yet another exhibit of his paintings – you can check out that interview HERE. In preparation for the upcoming dates in Florida, the two of them caught up again and discussed Joe’s process, the recent tour, the joy of playing with his peers in G3 and much more.
