When five seasoned, high-caliber musicians come together to create a new record, the result is nothing short of pure, adrenaline-fueled rock and roll. This is precisely what fans can expect from The Dead Daisies‘ upcoming album, “Light ‘Em Up”, which is set for release on September 6th.
The Dead Daisies featuring John Corabi [vocals], David Lowy [guitar], Doug Aldrich [guitar], Michael Devin [bass], and Tommy Clufetos [drums] have a new collection of songs which carries on the band’s tradition of celebrating the classic, gritty sound of hard rock. “Light ‘Em Up” is dripping with solid hooks, unforgettable riffs, and an uncanny sense of melody from these rebellious rock and rollers. “Light ‘Em Up” tips the hat to classic rock but with a modern edge that will leave listeners in awe. This unapologetically loud, bold, and anthemic rock is what fans have been craving, and The Dead Daisies delivers.

Correspondent Robert Cavuoto sat down with John Corabi as he shared why he left the band as well as his welcomed return. He reveals that he had even stepped in to rehearse with a version of the band featuring Glenn Hughes when Glenn was sidelined by illness to help prepare the group for a European tour. This underscores the close-knit camaraderie that defines the band’s dynamic on and off stage.
He also disclosed that the group recently recorded a blues cover album inspired by the creative energy they tapped into while recording “Light ‘Em Up” in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. A project that reflects the band’s desire to pay homage to their roots and musical heroes while showcasing their versatility as artists.
