Mammoth (formerly known as Mammoth WVH), has announced the release of its third studio album, The End. The record will be available on October 24 via BMG.
The 10-track album runs just 39 minutes and highlights Wolfgang’s growth as a songwriter and musician since launching his solo career in 2020. It was recorded at the legendary 5150 studio and produced by longtime friend and collaborator Michael “Elvis” Baskette.
The band has also released the official music video for the album’s third single, “I Really Wanna”. The new track is described as a funky rocker that shines a spotlight on Wolfgang’s distinctive style and his skill on every instrument.
The End is now available for pre-order here in several formats, including limited-edition colored vinyl, exclusive retailer versions, and editions featuring signed inserts.
Staying true to his creative vision, Wolfgang once again wrote every song and performed all the instruments and vocals on the album. He pushed himself to reach new heights beyond what he accomplished on his debut and sophomore albums, including Mammoth II. From the hypnotic opener “One of a Kind” to the catchy closer “All in Good Time”, the record demonstrates his versatility as both a musician and songwriter. Tracks like “Same Old Song”, “Happy”, and “Selfish” are expected to blend seamlessly with fan favorites from previous releases.
Earlier this year, Mammoth dropped the album’s first single, its title track “The End”. The song quickly gained traction thanks to a visually striking music video that has already surpassed five million views, setting the stage for what could be Wolfgang’s most ambitious release yet.
