Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) have revealed details of their 2025 Winter Tour, which will take the multi-platinum group to 64 cities for a total of 106 performances across the United States. This year’s production will feature a new version of The Ghosts Of Christmas Eve paired with a second set that includes greatest hits, fan favorites, and a 25th anniversary celebration of Beethoven’s Last Night.
The Ghosts Of Christmas Eve: The Best Of TSO And More tour will continue TSO’s reputation for blending rock, classical elements, and theatrical storytelling, enhanced with pyrotechnics, laser effects, and a full-scale stage show.
Pre-sales for fan club members begin on Thursday, September 4, and Friday, September 5. Additional pre-sales for select groups follow on Thursday, September 11 at 10 a.m. local time. General ticket sales open to the public on Friday, September 12 at 10 a.m. local time. Tour dates and ticketing information can be found here.
The 2025 run will present a reimagined version of The Ghosts Of Christmas Eve, a story first conceived by TSO’s late founder Paul O’Neill and originally released as a multi-platinum DVD TV special. The rock opera tells the tale of a runaway who takes shelter in an abandoned vaudeville theater on Christmas Eve. Following this performance, the concert will move into a second act featuring a high-energy mix of hits, deeper cuts, and unexpected surprises.
Musical director and guitarist Al Pitrelli reflected on the milestone: “When I go back and listen to our songs, I am always amazed at how quickly the time has gone by. It’s been 25 years since we recorded Beethoven’s Last Night and it seems just like yesterday. We are excited to play pieces from the album and pay respects to the art and legacies of both the great composer and Paul O’Neill. I’m looking forward to watching the expressions on everyone’s face, with all the surprises we have in store. We can’t wait to get on the road.”
In honor of the 25th anniversary, Beethoven’s Last Night will be issued on vinyl for the first time on September 12. The 2LP release will be offered in two versions: a special lenticular cover edition and a red vinyl pressing. The album tells the dramatic story of Ludwig van Beethoven’s final hours, combining his iconic music with TSO’s distinctive rock and theatrical approach.
The band also announced the return of the signing line tradition. For the first time since 2019, fans attending evening performances will have the chance to meet members of the group and get one item signed, free of charge.
With more than 20 million concert tickets sold and over $20 million donated to charity, Trans-Siberian Orchestra remain one of the most successful and charitable rock acts in the world. Continuing Paul O’Neill’s legacy, the group will once again donate at least $1 from every ticket sold to local charities in each city they perform.
