Marilyn Manson has unveiled a new track titled “Raise The Red Flag,” which can be streamed below. This release follows closely on the heels of another recent song, “As Sick As The Secrets Within,” which dropped earlier this month.
The chorus of “Raise The Red Flag” delivers a powerful message: “It’s time to beat up the bullies/And wash the bullseye off my back,” Manson declares, continuing with, “My red flag is your white one soaked in blood.”
Manson gave a live debut performance of “As Sick As The Secrets Within” during his headline show at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, Maryland, on August 3. This event marked his first live performance since before the pandemic, with his comeback show taking place on August 2 at Hersheypark Stadium in Pennsylvania, as part of Five Finger Death Punch‘s summer arena tour.
For this tour, Manson is accompanied by a new lineup of musicians, featuring the return of guitarist Tyler Bates and drummer Gil Sharone (ex-The Dilliger Escape Plan). The band also includes newcomers Reba Meyers (Code Orange) on guitar and Matt Montgomery, a.k.a. Piggy D. (ex-Rob Zombie), on bass.
