Three Days Grace have shared the performance video for their latest single “Kill Me Fast”, directed by Sanjay Parikh. The track marks the fourth single from their newest album Alienation. Originally released in July, the emotionally intense song followed the band’s previous No. 1 hits “Apologies” and “Mayday”, along with the hard-hitting rock anthem “Dominate”.
Frontman Adam Gontier reflected on the meaning behind the song, saying: “”Kill Me Fast” is one of my favorite songs this band has ever written. It’s about ripping the Band-Aid off. It’s a plea to someone who’s already halfway out the door to just let you go. ‘Don’t keep me hanging on while you figure your life out.’ It’s about the slow torture of not knowing where you stand. That moment when silence hurts more than the truth, and you’re begging for the cut just to stop the bleeding.”
Alienation was released on August 22 through RCA Records and marks a major moment for Three Days Grace — the return of original vocalist Adam Gontier after more than a decade. He joins Matt Walst on vocals, with Neil Sanderson on drums, Brad Walst on bass, and Barry Stock on guitar.
The twelve-track record blends the band’s signature sound with a renewed sense of purpose, creating what many fans are calling a perfect mix of nostalgia and evolution. Each song contributes to the band’s exploration of human emotion and resilience.
Drummer Neil Sanderson explained the album’s deeper themes: “Alienation is a journey through inner collapse and outward defiance. The songs reflect isolation as a condition of existence, not just circumstance. Some of what we write about — anxiety, addiction, heartbreak, disconnect — are often a different wave of the same storm. And yet buried in all the wreckage is something human — still reaching out.”
With “Kill Me Fast”, Three Days Grace continue to showcase their raw emotional honesty and powerful songwriting, further cementing their place as one of modern rock’s most enduring forces.
