Canadian rockers Three Days Grace have released “Kill Me Fast”, the fourth single from their upcoming album Alienation. The emotionally charged song, available across all digital streaming platforms today, serves as a follow up to No. 1 hits “Apologies” and “Mayday”, and recently released rock anthem “Dominate”, which sets the tone as the first track on the upcoming record.
Three Days Grace singer Adam Gontier comments: “‘Kill Me Fast’ is one of my favorite songs this band has ever written. It’s about ripping the Band-Aid off. It’s a plea to someone who’s already halfway out the door to just let you go. ‘Don’t keep me hanging on while you figure your life out.’ It’s about the slow torture of not knowing where you stand. That moment when silence hurts more than the truth, and you’re begging for the cut just to stop the bleeding.”
Alienation will arrive on August 22 via RCA Records. For the first time in over a decade, original Three Days Grace frontman Adam Gontier is back, joining Matt Walst on vocals along with Neil Sanderson on drums, Brad Walst on bass, and Barry Stock on guitars.
The twelve tracks on Alienation all play a pivotal role in defining this significantly new-but-nostalgic chapter of the band.
Sanderson comments: “”Alienation” is a journey through inner collapse and outward defiance. The songs reflect isolation as a condition of existence, not just circumstance. Some of what we write about — anxiety, addiction, heartbreak, disconnect — are often a different wave of the same storm. And yet buried in all the wreckage is something human — still reaching out.”
