Acclaimed guitarist and vocalist Orianthi has dropped her latest single, “Dark Days Are Gone”, along with an official music video now available for fans to watch.
“Dark Days Are Gone” marks the fifth single from her highly praised studio album Some Kind Of Feeling, released through Woodward Avenue Records and available on CD, vinyl, and digital formats.
Orianthi took on production duties for three songs on Some Kind Of Feeling — “First Time Blues,” “Ghost,” and “Bad For Each Other.” The remaining seven tracks, including the new single “Dark Days Are Gone”, were produced by Kevin “The Caveman” Shirley, known for his work with Black Country Communion, Beth Hart, and Joe Bonamassa.
It’s nearly impossible to talk about Orianthi without referencing her storied career alongside some of rock’s most iconic names. She’s performed with Alice Cooper, Dave Stewart, and Richie Sambora, and was famously chosen by Michael Jackson to join his band for the planned London residency before his passing.
Her solo career took off with the hit single “According to You” and her gold-certified 2009 Geffen Records release Believe. Since then, Orianthi has continued to build an impressive catalog of music, balancing her work as a collaborator with a steady stream of solo projects that showcase her versatility and musicianship.
In recent years, her creative output through Woodward Avenue Records — including “First Time Blues” featuring Joe Bonamassa, “Ghost,” “Some Kind Of Feeling,” and “Attention” — has demonstrated her fearless experimentation and evolution as an artist. This series of releases signals a new, adventurous era in her career, blending emotional depth with the bold, guitar-driven sound that defines her artistry.
With every new track, Orianthi reaffirms her position as a modern rock powerhouse. Through “Dark Days Are Gone”, she continues to share stories that balance strength and vulnerability, proving once again why she remains one of today’s most respected and dynamic guitarists.
