Bad Company, the legendary rock group and 2025 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, will be celebrated this fall with their first-ever tribute album. Titled Can’t Get Enough: A Tribute to Bad Company, the compilation will be released on October 24, 2025, via Primary Wave Music.
The album brings together an impressive lineup of artists from rock, country, and Americana—genres deeply shaped by Bad Company‘s music. Contributing to the project are names like Hardy, The Pretty Reckless, Joe Elliott and Phil Collen of Def Leppard, Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Charley Crockett, and Halestorm. Adding a special touch to the collection, Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke—vocalist and drummer for Bad Company—also appear on the record.
Reflecting on the opportunity, Joe Elliott said: “I’ve loved Bad Company since the very beginning. A phenomenal combination of two of my favorite bands, Free and Mott The Hoople—what’s not to love?! What a privilege it is for myself and Phil to cover one of my favorite Bad Company songs with Paul and Simon! Wow!”
Hardy added: “There’s a short list of bands my dad played for me as a young boy that shaped my love for rock ‘n’ roll, and Bad Company is on that list. It’s a very cool and surreal moment to be part of this project.”
Slash also shared his connection to the band, saying, “Bad Company was the background music of an important period in my youth. They were such a great band, and a huge influence on me then and still are today.”
The album’s lead single is a fresh take on “Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy” by The Struts, recorded and mixed by Bob Clearmountain. A behind-the-scenes video of the band’s studio session is available to watch online.
This tribute comes in the wake of the passing of Mick Ralphs, Bad Company’s founding guitarist, who died in June at the age of 81. Ralphs’ role in forming the band was pivotal. He first connected with Paul Rodgers of Free in 1971, and after jamming and sharing songs, made the bold move to leave Mott The Hoople. Together, they brought in Boz Burrell of King Crimson and drummer Simon Kirke, completing the original lineup. With guidance from Led Zeppelin’s famed manager Peter Grant, Bad Company became the first act signed to the Swan Song label.
Their debut album, Bad Company, released in 1974, quickly gained massive popularity and went five times platinum. The record produced timeless tracks like “Can’t Get Enough” and “Movin’ On”, along with anthems such as “Ready for Love”, “Rock Steady”, and the self-titled “Bad Company”.
In a full-circle moment of recognition, Bad Company is set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame later in 2025.
Mick Ralphs gave his final live performance with the band on October 29, 2016, at the O2 Arena in London. A few days later, he suffered a severe stroke that left him bedridden until his passing, closing the chapter on a remarkable life in rock.
