Silver Lining Music has announced the release of No Life ’Til Leather – A Tribute To Metallica’s Kill ’Em All, an all-star homage to Metallica’s groundbreaking 1983 debut. The album arrives on November 14 and features an impressive lineup of metal legends and new-generation heavy hitters reimagining one of the most influential debuts in heavy metal history.

The third single unveiled from the project is Testament’s take on Metallica’s “Seek & Destroy”. Vocalist Chuck Billy shared: “We had fun covering Metallica’s song “Seek & Destroy”. Songs like this started a movement.”

The first single from No Life ’Til Leather – A Tribute To Metallica’s Kill ’Em All came from The Almighty, who delivered a powerful version of “The Four Horsemen”. It marked the band’s first recording with their original lineup since 1991 — a fitting tribute that pays respect to their roots while signaling a fierce creative revival.

The second release featured former Megadeth bassist David Ellefson, who tackled Metallica’s bass-driven instrumental masterpiece “(Anesthesia) – Pulling Teeth”, bringing a monumental and personal touch to the track.

Described as “a colossal celebration of the most propulsive debut album in heavy metal history,” No Life ’Til Leather – A Tribute To Metallica’s Kill ’Em All brings together artists who both inspired Metallica and those who followed in their wake.

The record includes contributions from veterans such as Saxon, Diamond Head, and Motörhead — all bands that played a key role in shaping Metallica’s sound. They’re joined by newer acts like Tailgunner and Swedish progressive metal outfit Soen, each adding their unique approach to the classic material.

The compilation also features standout performances from Testament, David Ellefson, and Tygers Of Pan Tang, as well as a thunderous finale from Raven, who perform “Metal Militia”. Fittingly, Raven toured with Metallica during the band’s first major outing, the legendary 1983 Kill ’Em All For One tour.

No Life ’Til Leather – A Tribute To Metallica’s Kill ’Em All is being hailed as an ambitious undertaking worthy of Metallica’s revolutionary legacy. The release is “by the fans and for the fans,” reaffirming the enduring power of the Four Horsemen while celebrating the community that continues to keep heavy metal alive.

The album will be available November 14 in vinyl, CD, and digital formats.
