Legendary Brazilian metal band Sepultura has released professionally-filmed video footage of their performance of “Guardians Of The Earth” at Bloodstock Open Air Metal Festival 2023. The video shows the band in fine form, delivering a powerful and energetic rendition of one of their most popular songs.
The video begins with a close-up of guitarist Andreas Kisser, who is clearly enjoying himself as he rips through the song’s opening guitar section. The band is quickly joined by vocalist Derrick Green, who delivers a passionate and powerful vocal performance, while rhythm section of bassist Paulo Xisto Pinto Jr. and drummer Eloy Casagrande is also on fire, providing a solid foundation for the band’s sound.
In addition to the video of their performance, Sepultura guitarist Andreas Kisser also recently appeared on Bloodstock TV, where he spoke about the band’s hectic schedule since the pandemic, their upcoming live album, and his views on the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. On the last subject he said that he would be honored if Sepultura were inducted, but that it is not something that the band is actively pursuing. He said that the band is more focused on making music and touring than on awards and accolades.
