SAVATAGE Unearths Legendary “Japan Live ’94” For First-Ever Vinyl Release

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Savatage‘s powerful live performance in Japan, earMUSIC is finally releasing “Japan Live ’94” on vinyl for the very first time. This marks the culmination of a three-year project that saw all of Savatage‘s studio albums reissued on high-quality vinyl.

Las year on October 27, 2023, Savatage and earMUSIC released “Ghost In The Ruins” in vinyl for the first time as a way to remember Criss Oliva and to pay tribute to his legacy and distinctive work. “Japan Live ’94” will be released on August 9th, 2024 as a double LP.

Following the tragic passing of guitarist Criss Oliva, Savatage persevered, undergoing lineup changes and facing an uncertain future. Yet, their spirit remained unbroken, as evidenced by this electrifying performance in Japan.

This vinyl release marks the first time the entire concert will be available in audio format. All 16 songs are included in their original running order, remastered specifically for vinyl. The deluxe gatefold packaging features the original album artwork, new liner notes by Clay Marshall, and rare memorabilia, providing a comprehensive experience for fans.
