After leaving an indelible mark on the progressive rock world derived from his superb work as singer/guitarist for prog-rock super-groups Flying Colors and The Sea Within, Casey McPherson turns his sight to his alternative rock band Alpha Rev to perform at RoseFest. The festival supports the To Cure A Rose Foundation and will be held on September 4th, 2021, at Haute Spot in Cedar Park, Austin, TX.
RoseFest is a musical festival and fundraiser that celebrates the music community that has stepped up along the way. Casey McPherson is an Austin native and a musician that will be performing at the festival with his band Alpha Rev. RoseFest is open to all ages and will be live-streamed for free on Facebook and YouTube. Doors open at 4 pm, and tickets are available here.
As some people may know, Casey´s five-year-old daughter Rose was recently diagnosed with a rare neurological disease called HNRNPH2. To Cure A Rose Foundation adds to the efforts already made and will play its part in working toward an impactful genetic treatment for HNRNPH2 patients. The organization has already assembled a team of scientists and business leaders to develop treatments for children like Rose.
