Punk legends CIRCLE JERKS have added more dates to their upcoming tour which is set to take place spring 2022. The dates span both coasts and (mostly) everywhere in between with support from NEGATIVE APPROACH and 7SECONDS who will be reuniting for the first time in over five years. Tickets for the new shows go on sale this Friday, October 8 at 10 a.m. local time at circlejerks.net/tour

CIRCLE JERKS‘ landmark record “Group Sex” turned 40 last fall. The band will be on tour this fall with ADOLESCENTS, NEGATIVE APPROACH and MUNICIPAL WASTE in celebration of its anniversary and the commemorative reissue.

The CIRCLE JERKS lineup for the upcoming shows will include singer Keith Morris, guitarist Greg Hetson and bassist Zander Schloss, along with the group’s latest addition, drummer Joey Castillo (THE BRONXQUEENS OF THE STONE AGEDANZIGBL’AST!WASTED YOUTH).

From the beginning, the CIRCLE JERKS were rooted in controversy. Formed by ex-members of BLACK FLAG and REDD KROSS in late 1979, the band came to encapsulate the image, sound and energy of California hardcore punk. CIRCLE JERKS have released six studio albums, one compilation, a live album and a live DVD. The band has broken up and reformed several times, sometimes with different bassists and/or drummers.
