On March 6, 2026, Powerwolf will release their brand new live album Wildlive (Live At Olympiahalle), which combines the magic, energy, and theatrical brilliance of their biggest arena headlining tour to date.
Recorded at the breathtaking final concert of the Wolfsnächte Tour 2024 in Munich’s sold-out Olympiahalle, Wildlive is far more than just another live recording – it’s a grandiose, cinematic experience full of fire, emotion, and boundless creativity.
What began as an unconventional project in 2004 has developed into one of the most successful heavy metal bands in the world. Wildlive documents Powerwolf‘s unstoppable rise to the top and presents a show that goes far beyond an ordinary metal concert. From a fire-breathing church organ and thunderous pyro spectacles to dark, operetta-like storytelling and rousing audience interaction, this show is a heavy metal musical in its purest form.

Powerwolf states: “We always knew that no words or short recap videos could truly capture what we experienced together during the ‘Wolfsnächte’ 2024 tour. Every night was its own kind of magic — still, we wanted to find a way to hold on to those memories and share them in the most powerful way possible. That’s why we decided to record the full, massive, sold-out show at the Olympiahalle in Munich — to preserve just a piece of what we all felt on this tour. Wildlive (Live At Olympiahalle) is more than a live release. It’s a tribute and manifestation of the moments we created together.”
Each song is visually restaged, featuring changing stage sets, perfectly timed effects, and dramatic elements, such as monks with torches, snow falling on a burning piano, and breathtaking pyrotechnics. These are just some of the elements that make the show a spectacle of superlatives. Classics such as “Army Of The Night”, “Amen & Attack”, “Armata Strigoi” and “Demons Are a Girl’s Best Friend” come to life in monumental arrangements, while the fans embrace during the emotional ballad “Alive or Undead” and a blazing pyre causes a stir during the song ‘1589’. Frontman Attila Dorn and organist Falk Maria Schlegel work together to fire up the thousands of fans so that the energy from the stage spreads to everyone.
