METALLICA Has Announced Colored Vinyl Reissues Of Their First Five Albums Across International Markets

“Kill ‘Em All”, “Ride The Lightning”, “Master Of Puppets”, “…And Justice For All”, and “Metallica”, the first five Metallica albums that were formerly available only in the US will be released internationally starting in November 2023.

Recently, Metallica has announced plans to release their first five studio albums outside of North America on colored vinyl in a strictly special limited edition. Starting in November 2023 until March 2024, a new title with its respective color, will be released every month. A digital download code will also be provided for each album.

“Kill ‘Em All” as it is expected, will be the first release starting in November 3rd. The vinyl is pressed on 180g, in ‘Jump In The Fire Engine Red’ limited-edition colored vinyl. It features the 2016 remastered audio.

“Ride The Lightning”, Metallica‘s sophomore album, will be release on December 1. The vinyl is pressed on 180g, in ‘Electric Blue’ limited-edition colored vinyl. It also features the 2016 remastered audio.

“Master Of Puppets”, Metallica‘s widely-hailed third album follows, with a release date of January 5, 2024. It is pressed on 180g, in ‘Battery Brick’ limited-edition colored vinyl. The album features the 2017 remastered audio.

“…And Justice For All”, the album that earned Metallica its first Grammy Award, will be release on February 2, 2024. The album is presented as a 2LP pressed on 180g, in ‘Dyers Green’ limited-edition colored vinyl. This one features the 2018 remastered audio.

Finally, “Metallica”, better known as “The Black Album”, and the first one to reach number 1 in the charts, will be release on March 1, 2024. The album is also presented as a 2LP pressed on 180g, in ‘Some Blacker Marbled’ limited-edition colored vinyl. This best-selling album will feature the 2021 remastered audio.
