This past Friday (October 14th), LORNA SHORE unleashed their fourth full-length, “Pain Remains,” via Century Media Records.
The final installment in their “Pain Remains” song trilogy, “Pain Remains III: In a Sea of Fire,” dropped as a video in epic fashion, and true to its title, you’ve never seen as much fire in your life as you will in this ten-minute epic. It’s also going to snap your neck like a twig with its fury and, well…. flame, truthfully! If you thought deathcore couldn’t get this hot, we’ll tell you this for free: it’s time to reconsider.
For LORNA SHORE, 2020 was nothing short of a reckoning – in a career built on challenges, changes and a single-minded vision. For the New Jersey quintet, 2020 signaled the pandemic and cancelled tours. The following year presented the band with a staggering creative challenge in the form of the song, “To the Hellfire” (currently at 10M+ views on YouTube, 21M+ streams on Spotify), from their hugely well-regarded EP …“And I Return to Nothingness.” Yet, through it all, they upped their sonic ante with their upcoming album, “Pain Remains,” that not only aligns with everything LORNA SHORE has hinted at, but it also exceeds that – brutally and magnificently. “It feels like a rebirth of everything for us – the energy, the band, the morale,” says drummer Austin Archey.

After a successful run of festival appearances this summer, LORNA SHORE is now back on the road – this time, supporting Parkway Drive and While She Sleeps for a trek across Europe. In October/November, the band will return stateside for a headliner, featuring special guests Aborted, Ingested, AngelMaker and Ov Sulfur.
