Four members of Journey’s current touring lineup appeared on the season 28 finale of NBC’s singing competition show The Voice on Tuesday, December 16, delivering a medley of some of the band’s most recognizable songs. The performance included “Lights”, “Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin'” and “Don’t Stop Believin'”.
The segment opened with coaches Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg, and Reba McEntire joining the band onstage for a cover of “Lights”. Guitarist Neal Schon and the rest of the Journey musicians backed the trio, while several fan-favorite contestants from season 28 also took part in the performance.
As the medley continued, the focus shifted fully to the band’s catalog, building toward a crowd-pleasing finale. The performance closed with an energetic rendition of “Don’t Stop Believin'”, bringing the season to a familiar and celebratory finish.
