DIRKSCHNEIDER & THE OLD GANG, the project featuring former ACCEPT members Udo Dirkschneider (vocals), Peter Baltes (bass) and Stefan Kaufmann (guitar), has released a new single and video, “Face Of A Stranger”. Check it out below.
The best thing about DIRKSCHNEIDER & THE OLD GANG, however, is that although the new project is musically in the tradition of it’s legendary predecessors, they are currently working on brand new songs. The video clip of the first number, ‘Where The Angels Fly’, can be found on YouTube since September 2020, and a third clip ‘Every Heart Is Burning’ will follow on May 28, 2021. Then on August 27, 2021, a single with all three songs will hit the stores as a CD, a12″ vinyl and a download. So eyes and ears open, here you can expect great things!

Kaufmann was the drummer for ACCEPT on nine albums but was forced to give up drumming towards the end of the band’s initial run after sustaining a serious injury to his back. Stefan joined U.D.O. as a guitar player in 1996, following ACCEPT‘s second breakup, and recorded nine albums with them, including his most recent release with the group, 2011’s “Rev-Raptor”.
