Bay Area rockers Y&T have announced two special acoustic shows happening as part of two exclusive Meniketti Wines events. Participants will have the chance to taste all four wines, enjoy some cheese and an intimate Y&T acoustic set, to later be able to hang out with with front-man Dave Meniketti and his wife and Y&T manager Jill plus the rest of the band. Tickets available at this location and all of the above is included in the price.

Y&T‘s live album, Live At The Mystic, was released in November 2012 via Frontiers Records SLR, while the band’s first studio album in 13 years, Facemelter, came out in May 2010.
On January 27, 2015 the band launched a crowdfunding campaign via Kickstater for the release of a documentary entitled Y&T – A Documentary About the Legendary Classic Rock Band, which successfully raised $58,473 with 772 backers. However several things have gotten in the way, and the project hasn’t been completed yet. The last update is dated April 3 of this year and confirms the completion of the first edit, while a previous update included a teaser clip and the following text:
“… Hello wonderful Kickstarter contributors! We remain hard at work editing the Y&T documentary. As we progress, and we are progressing, we are still hearing from new participants who want to contribute to the documentary. Recently, we heard from Producer Tom Allom (In Rock We Trust.) He has agreed to send us a self-interview. He has been busy with Judas Priest’s new album. We are in the process of working that out A.S.A.P. Also, Jimmy Degrasso has been searching high and low for a certain VHS tape and has finally found it! As we continue to work hard assembling this documentary, you can see it takes a team to get it done! We are proud of what we’ve accomplished so far. We hope you enjoy this latest clip, and we hope you know that we want to see the final cut just as much as you do! Thanks for your continued patience, and we hope you have a great holiday season!
