Having released collaboration albums with The Sea Within, Jon Anderson and being out on tour with Steve Hackett, the leader of The Flower Kings is now focusing on his own music by releasing a brand new album called “Manifesto of an Alchemist”. Under the moniker ROINE STOLT’S THE FLOWER KING, “Manifesto Of An Alchemist” offers 10 songs and almost 70 minutes of playing time celebrating the style Roine is most revered for: progressive rock, richly orchestrated with all the trademark elements from four decades of prog.

This record, garnered with artwork by Shaun Beyond, is a celebration of all the styles that have been part of the colorful, daring and dynamic songwriting and arrangements, Roine masters like no other yet also offers a more immediate, more hands on approach. And in this interview with Scott Medina, they discuss the new album at length and also touch in on the process of Roine’s songwriting, his possible future plans with Jon Anderson and more. You can listen to the audio of their chat in the link below.
