Marco Minnemann has to be one of the most prolific drummers on the scene today, in large part due to the fact that he also happens to be one of the most talented. Along with Bryan Beller and Guthrie Govan, Marco fills out the trio known as The Aristocrats which is a primary vessel for his percussive talents. Marco also has a long solo career and has recently laid down tracks for one of the most intriguing releases of 2018, the self-titled debut album from The Sea Within.

In our half hour chat we talked about all these things, along with Marco’s time playing and touring with Steven Wilson and his take on the live tool with ever growing popularity, the click track. You’ll be able to catch Marco on the road through Europe with the Aristocrats and at Night of the Prog and Cruise to the Edge with The Sea Within over the coming months.
